Our Mission: To improve the quality of life through Musical Education
After years in Child Development studies and working with various groups of children, I realized my passion was beyond teaching. I wanted to teach music. I truly believe music is the gateway to our hearts, and for many, it's a way to express themselves. I find that people, especially children, expand intellectually and spiritually when connected with music. When I work with my students, I see them grow and embrace the joy music brings to their lives.
I am currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Business, working toward being able to confidently and effectively grow my business, but my ultimate educational goal is to get my DMA in Music Pedagogy. I have worked with children for over seventeen years now. As a young adult, I volunteered and taught at my church, both as a bible class teacher and as the youth choir founder and director. I've also been a daycare teacher, a nanny, a summer camp counselor, and a reading tutor. What can I say? I love kids! Even though I do work with children and adults of all ages, I have found that I'm blessed and gifted in working with very young children. I also have experience in teaching and tutoring special needs children, namely those with autism, down syndrome, and children with minor to moderate learning disabilities.
As of August 2015, Jesch Studios has relocated to Orange, California. I and Chris Montague, a current student at CSUF, will be teaching students of all levels in our home studio. Call or email to schedule your free introductory lesson, as space is limited!
